FAQ About the Raptor Safe App
Raptor Safe App FAQs
Schools use the Raptor Safe App to streamline campus access while maintaining strong safety protocols. By using the app, families can check in faster, receive important notifications, and ensure that all interactions, like pickups, visits, or volunteering, are verified and documented for student safety.
A Raptor Passport is your secure digital identity within the Raptor Safe App. It stores your verified information so you can quickly check in, register for events, or be approved for student pickup without needing to repeatedly enter your details. It helps schools confirm who you are while making your experience faster and more convenient.
Raptor Safe works with the school’s visitor management system to ensure all visitors are pre-registered, screened, and verified before entering campus. By using the app, your information is securely stored and validated ahead of time, reducing wait times while helping schools maintain full visibility of who is on campus at all times.
When you arrive on campus, you can use your personal QR code from the Raptor Safe App to check in quickly at the front office or kiosk. Staff scan your code, instantly retrieve your verified information, and complete the check-in process—eliminating manual processes and reducing lines during busy times.
Within the Raptor Safe App, you can add approved pickup contacts to your child’s profile. This allows schools to verify that anyone picking up your child has permission, helping ensure a safe and controlled dismissal process. You can update or manage these permissions at any time.
Raptor Safe is built with strong data privacy and security standards to protect your information. Personal data is protected and only accessible to authorized school personnel for safety purposes. Schools maintain control over how information is used, ensuring it is handled responsibly and in compliance with privacy regulations.
When you download the app and create your account, you’ll be guided to link your profile to your child’s school using verified information such as your contact details or an invitation from the school. This ensures your account is securely connected and aligned with school records, allowing for accurate permissions and communication.
