Meet Texas School Safety Mandates While Reducing Cost and Vendor Complexity
Raptor Technologies® gives schools the platform, products, and partnership to manage school safety as one connected system — built for the realities of the school day. With a consistent interface across products, staff learn one system and rely on it with confidence, whether they’re checking in a visitor or managing an emergency response.
Whether someone is a student, staff member, visitor, or volunteer, every Raptor product recognizes them as the same person across the platform. The right information is already there when it’s needed, through check-in, emergency response, wellbeing support, and compliance.
Schools manage one vendor relationship, one contract, and a platform designed to grow with their needs, and every product added to the Raptor platform reduces the cost and complexity of managing safety.
Alyssa's Law (Senate Bill 838) requires school districts and open-enrollment charter schools to provide silent panic alert technology in every classroom, beginning with the 2025–2026 school year, for immediate contact with law enforcement, emergency services, health departments, and fire departments. Raptor Alerting Technology automatically sends critical incident details to administrators and first responders, supporting faster, more coordinated emergency response.
See HowTAC §61.1031 requires exterior school doors to remain closed, latched, and locked during the school day, with weekly inspections. Raptor SmartAudit allows staff to scan a door with an NFC tag and record the door's status as Locked, Unlocked, Propped Open, or Damaged through the Raptor Staff app. The check is digitally saved, and if there's an issue, an alert goes out immediately.

Requirement
Alyssa's Law (Senate Bill 838) requires school districts and open-enrollment charter schools to provide silent panic alert technology in every classroom, beginning with the 2025–2026 school year, for immediate contact with law enforcement, emergency services, health departments, and fire departments.
Raptor Compliance
Raptor Alerting Technology automatically sends critical incident details to administrators and first responders, supporting faster, more coordinated emergency response.
Requirement
Emergency Operations Plans (EOPs) must now address reunification, expanding beyond the previous focus on prevention, mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.
Raptor Compliance
Raptor Reunification Software helps ensure students are only reunified with approved guardians.
Requirement
EOPs must ensure district employees — now including substitute teachers — have access to a telephone or other electronic communication device for immediate contact with emergency services, law enforcement, health, and fire departments.
Raptor Compliance
Raptor Badge Alert is a wearable panic button that allows staff, including substitutes, to initiate an alert that directly connects to 911 and provides critical information to first responders.
Requirement
Administrators or threat assessment and safe-and-supportive-school teams must promptly notify all teaching staff of any threat, including its existence, nature, and other pertinent details needed to ensure safety.
Raptor Compliance
Raptor StudentSafe™ allows staff to capture, connect, and track student wellbeing and safety concerns while protecting sensitive data with precise, configurable access controls that give each role the visibility they need and nothing more.
Requirement
Each school district or public junior college district must adopt a multi-hazard EOP that includes standardized response protocol terminology, to facilitate communication between law enforcement, emergency services, district employees, and the public.
Raptor Compliance
Raptor is officially licensed by The "I Love U Guys" Foundation to include the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) and Standard Reunification Method (SRM) as part of our Emergency Management software.
Requirement
Exterior school doors must remain closed, latched, and locked during the school day, with limited exceptions. Doors must automatically close and engage locking hardware after entry or egress, while still allowing emergency egress from the inside when locked. School systems must also conduct weekly inspections to verify exterior doors are closed, latched, and locked and cannot be opened from the outside without a key.
