We at Raptor Technologies® know how important a solid emergency plan can be in the event of an actual crisis. One indispensable element of a good emergency plan is an effective and efficient post-emergency protocol for quickly reunifying students with their parents or guardians.
The “I Love U Guys” Foundation has partnered with Raptor Technologies to make Kiel Pankonien, school security consultant, available to schools and districts to assist them in building and evaluating their own reunification plans. Offsite parent-student reunifications can be a daunting task, but with a good plan in place beforehand, students can be safely reconnected with their families in an organized, efficient manner. The Raptor® Emergency Management system makes it easier. In fact, in timed district comparison trials, using the Raptor Emergency Management system was 4 TIMES FASTER than paper-and-pencil based reunification. And time matters. Research shows that the sooner students are reunited with their caregivers, the less likely they are to exhibit symptoms of traumatic stress.
Raptor® offers this FREE 30 MINUTE CONSULTATION to assist you in building a robust plan for your school or district. Select a date and time that works best for you, and our consultant will call you at that scheduled time to discuss your current reunification protocol and suggest ways to strengthen it.
